Each Republican office-holder representing Gila County has been invited again to attend this year’s event. Photos may be taken with officials.
The Gila County GOP Lincoln Day Luncheon is a great opportunity to mingle with fellow Republicans and to hear from our elected officials. This celebration is the main fund-raising event for our local party, which will finance activities throughout the year to help promote the GOP expenses, programs and candidates.
Senator Martha McSally proudly represents the people of Arizona in the United States Senate. She previously represented Arizona’s second congressional district for four years in the United States House of Representatives. Prior to serving in Congress, Senator McSally served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2010 as a full Colonel. She is the first female fighter pilot to fly in combat and first to command a fighter squadron in combat in United States history.
Dr. Paul Gosar will bring us an update on the new Congress and what is happening in the Trump Administration. Dr. Gosar is always exciting to hear with an insider’s view of the drama and accomplishments you have helped bring from the nation’s capitol to our local town government.
The Honorable Kimberly Yee serves as the 36th Treasurer of Arizona. As Arizona’s chief banking and investment officer, she safeguards approximately $16 billion in assets and stewards the cash management of Arizona’s $40 billion state budget and related payments to state agencies, local governments and public schools.
In 2016, then-Senator Kimberly Yee was a featured, onstage speaker during the opening day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2014, she was nationally recognized as a “Rising Star” by the Republican National Committee. She was previously named one of the nation’s “25 Most Influential Women in State Politics” by Congressional Quarterly’s Roll Call, the leading media organization covering Congress. Kimberly Yee was one of 25 national women leaders selected to participate in the 2018 Women in Government Program.

A good time was had by all at the 2017 Lincoln Day Dinner in Payson, Arizona on March 11th. Congressmen Paul Gosar (center) and Arizona State Treasurer Jeff Dewitt (not pictured) were the keynote speakers; both gave great speeches to a very appreciative full house.
