GOP Convention 2016

GOP Convention 2016

GCRC 2016 Pence Support

by Gary Morris, Gila County Republican Committee.

“The Gila County Republican Party welcomes Governor Mike Pence as the Vice President nominee to team with Presidential nominee Donald Trump. Governor Pence is a demonstrated long-time conservative Republican and current Governor of the State of Indiana. Republican principles have proven to be very successful in that state and have created a growing economy which is well ahead of the county’s sluggish economy while also lowering taxes by millions of dollars. That leadership can benefit the economic recovery of the country in a Trump administration. Further, the Governor brings 12 years of experience as a U.S. Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives. That strong experience will certainly help to move a President Trump’s “Making America Great” agenda through Congress.”

Chairman Morris is in Cleveland as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention, as well as Precinct Committeewoman Shirley Dye, who is also the Payson Tea Party Vice President, and a Delegate. Shirley is on the Payson School Board and a member of the Northern Arizona Sanitary Board. Also attending the Convention is Precinct Committeewoman Nancy Cox, who is also the Vice President of the Rim Country Republican Club, and is serving as an Alternate Delegate.
